If any damage occurred, it would be at the bottom of the mount and just the threads. As long as the mesh is good for you the inserts are fine.
As far as the extension, the plug might be marked. Consult your owners manual for the polarity. I had the same issue. All black wires on my protek servo going into my KO receiver. Should be fine but if you look at the plug and receiver, you will see that the pins and holes on the plug are low on the plug and not in the middle like you might assume. So look at the receiver and match the plug. Make sure you put foam around the receiver.

muunan No. The gear is specific to HB. No other car has the pin hole in there and mixing ring and pinions is a big no as a slight difference will make for problems. Just use the original item.

Car is super solid. On the E817 and D819 I've only ever broke a shock stand off and end link on the E817 (same time). Never broken anything on the D819.
I'd keep shock pins handy ( easy to lose ), Arms (because why not ), hex pins, and shock stand offs (I've broken a couple), and end links.

Hi all, when setting my rear droop with the lowest hub position inserts and 129 shock length the right side driveshaft(uni joint) is touching the arm, inserts are all correct and kit is new from absolute

That's normal when running alot of droop. When you run that much droop you need to take a dremel and notch the rear arm to make clearance for the universal

Default front hubs.

I run my camber link on the inner hole on the front hubs, what difference does it make when you run the link on the other 2 holes.

Wreckingball, I feel the longer positions dull the steering and give you a more stable car.
I feel the middle to outer hole can be run on 90% of the tracks in Texas. Every so often on really tight tracks I find I need the inner most hole to get really fast , crisp steering.

I highly suggest you try all the positions so you know the feel it makes. Of course remember to reset your front camber and toe after you so this .

Has anyone tried carbon fiber shock towers, if so how do they hold up compared to stock towers?
