Default Massive Mods .21 Engine

Hey guys,

Recently picked up a 2nd hand nitro from has a MM .21 engine in it. Just got back into RCs after not touching em for 20 yrs and am already hooked again!

Have had a good read through most of the MM related threads, but can't decipher anywhere where they're actually manufactured and where I could find any original manuals that would have come with the engine, local suppliers etc

Ultimately I'm just looking to learn more about the engine so I can understand how to service/maintain it, upgrade it with compatible parts etc... as I've finally managed to tune it and get it running reasonably well so am now expecting things to slowly start breaking and needing replacing hah.

Cheers!

Massive Mods engines were manufactured by GO. They tune a little differently, the HSN usually stays flush, and all fine tuning is done through the LSN. They easily develop a lean bog if the HSN is too lean. Is it the MG66 with the black cooling head?

Wow ok that is good to know then - after reading various guides and watching vids etc I've been tuning in order of;

HSN
LSN
Idle

and so far have actually got it running quite nicely, but sounds like I could get it going even better.

yup that's the one - with a bit of red throughout it yeah?

Yes red writing on the top, those engines can absolutely scream, but are a little soft on the bottom. I quite liked them
