I hope it is a tki5 and not an mp10. They just released the mp9evo.

It would be nice to see a new 1/8 buggy, as in a new platform. Having raced Kyosho from the MP7.5-MP9 days, it would be nice to see a whole new car. Seems like the MP9 has been evolved to max capacity, and sure it is still very capable! But a new car would be a nice refresher!!!

On a whole the car is fairly solid but their are many areas that simply need refined.

Front arms are just junk. If your not racing in hot weather you will break front arms

B block pills are a major issue causing arm breakage. Pills get pushed back and the hinge pins pop out.

anodizing is sub par and lasts as long as a cake at fat camp

you have to pre drill a hole under the clutch bell to keep from the chassis flexing so much and hitting it.

fuel tank is garbage. the white internal filter disengrates and goes through the fuel system and if you dont have a filter it will go right to your engine. Not to mention no clunker.

chassis braces are like wet noodles and hold a bend after very little run time.

shielded bearings get dirty fast should be sealed bearings.

radio try is a pain to work on and is very flexible.

just to name a few

the a block pills are by far the worst. If those were fixed I think the arms and hinge pins would probably be ok. The radio box has room and is way easier to deal with than the others. The arms actually use glass filled nylon and donít warp over time. Those bearings are an option on Mugens and they last longer than sealed bearings for me. The car handles great with the limp noodle braces and the chassis does not develop a tweak over time so that is a plus to me. The aluminum parts hold up so I can live with the anodizing. The fuel tank tunes the best of them all so I donít really want a clunk.

nothing, but it would be nice to have a rehash.... i did not wait this long after the MP777 for the MP9 to be released....raced the MP9 until the tki3... and it was great... have switched brands since.

but what I would change is going back to the wide upper arms like on the MP777, or switch to real upper turnbuckles, from the T-rex style narrow arms for one!
