Default Losi 8ight wheel offset

Is the wheel offset the original losi 8ight used still a popular offset? I have 8 sets of 90% crime fighters, bow ties, and ect. and I'm wondering if there is a new platform that uses the offset still. Are the tires still competitive or does new stuff blow away M2 crime fighters and bow ties?

Are you talking truggy? If so I believe the wide wheel set also used tires with a much bigger side wall. The standard tires today with bigger wheel and less sidewall are much much better then the older style tires. I was into truggy when I got in and that was a big update over the older style wheels. I also donít believe any new truggys use wide offset wheels anymore, all are deep dish wheels with the long arms. I like that standard as Iím sure most others do to.

Buggy actually. The offsets changed from brand to brand and I'm not sure what buggies would still be using the offset if any. New the tires would be about the cost of a nice used buggy roller.
