Yes
All of the above I I will be also going for an electric in the same scale so I guess in general I'm looking for the best company with the best-performing car

Lap times: no significant difference in performance between these two, though they require a different setup approach (as most cars do) Driving ease: same as above. Your setup skills make more of a difference than the car itself Maintenance: pretty dead-even. Parts availability: excellent for both. Slight edge for AE in the US/Canada Parts quality: Mugen has *slightly* better plastics; not enough to make a notable performance impact |
All chassis are close to each other in performance. Buy what your local hobby shop has parts for. You can tune a chassis for any condition.

Local store
I really do not have a local store there is a HobbyTown ,they don’t carry parts for anything I should’ve mentioned that . rumors I’ve heard is that ae has taken a lot of design from mugen and I’ve always liked my older mugen cars but I also hear that the ae cars have interchangeable parts between the nitro and the ebuggy |
I was under the impression Mugen made the ae buggy and/OR they are pretty close copy of each other, no?? |

Both cars have a similar layout, but if you inspect the suspension geometry of both cars you'll see that they're quite different. Even if you try to put a Mugen setup on the AE car it won't behave the same way and vice-versa.
good to know, I guess what u hear from people isn’t always true no matter how ‘inthe know’ they are lol cause I was told Mugen actually made the ae buggy and sold it to them. Lmao |
