Default Anyone identify this alt.electronics tray, 8ight 3.0?

Bought a used 3.0 with all the gear and some extras...
In one of the boxes I found this electronics tray, which is NOT a stock 3.0 one.
It looks like it uses the same (better) layout of the 8ight-X, with direct throttle/brake servo actuation, but isn't the X part

Really? Weird...
Seems like theyre going back to that layout with the X

Is there any clearance issues with the front center drive shaft?
Do you have a pic of the steering servo setup?

what do you use it on? 4.0 Buggy 4.0 truggy?
yea it's 2.0 Buggy tray, people were saying the servo was to close to engine and it would sometime burn the servo out over time quicker.

People say the servo hits the chassis-thats why I have always run the rubber gromits on the mounting tabs.....heat issues is a new one on me....but I guess if your engine running 300 it could cause a issue.....just like any servo.....epa is a critical adjustment and always take into consideration chassis flex....I set my high to 85% open....leaving room for flex....won a lot of sportsman events with this car and have never lost a servo.....a few wing mounts, a couple of front hinge pins....but never a servo......

Nice, I had a 1.0 and 2.0. 4.0 definitely drives better but if it works for you that's good. It's all personal preference when it comes down to it. Get the x car when it comes out that will be a nice upgrade for you.
