Default Nitro Challenege and Silver State

Looks like the SIlver State race is staying indoors and the DNC is moving to a new track. http://thedirt.us/blog/2018/09/silve...indoor-worlds/

Maybe. Not sure how Thornhill would work if he wants to have the 1/5 scale track, and U4 track in addition to the 1/8th track though. But he could add 1/10 back in on the turf track I guess. Maybe the 1/5th will move to just the Silver State event.

Fully runnable year round. It might be cold a few days, but it has snowed at the Fear Farm during DNC so no different really. Plus Thornhill is covered so no worries about rain.

I think he will lose entries at Thornhill.. Cali boys complain about driving to Phx. No way they're going to Texas.

I don't see Joey losing entries by moving the race to Thornhill. The Nitro Challenge is still one of, if not the largest nitro event of the year and people will still travel to go and race it no matter where it is in the country. It would make sense for Joey to move it to Thornhill as they are protected from weather there. No having to run around spreading sawdust and straw on the tracks due to terrible weather. They will have no problems filling the pits and property.

Hi guys. As a racer from the UK I知 looking at attending Silver State in 2019. I知 trying to gather prices but does anyone remember how much the 2018 race entry fee and hotel combo came too.

or would you recommend attending the DNC. It will be a once in a life time event for me to attend so want to do it right as I知 sure I won稚 get another chance

just so I can try and work out a budget. Ta

Texas puts the race a lot closer to the Midwest and south so it might even out.

Hard to recommend one over the other since we don't know for sure when and where the DNC will be held just yet. That said, it's hard to beat an indoor race in Vegas. Especially if you are coming from that far.

It will be just fine here in Cali, where it all started. But I really enjoyed the fear farm. All of the car manufacturers are within an hour of the track. Not to mention Joey only lives 15mins from the location, anyone needs advanced hotel info let me know
