Best track pipes
 

Hi everyone,
Just recently my local rc club which I'm member of, managed to receive a ~30000USD for building an rc track! :)
We're looking for good pipes. So far we've been using this type:

it' convenient as it bends well but unfortunately breaks quickly.

I saw that Joey (The Dirt) uses white pipes which are smooth on the outside and flexible. Do you know what exactly it is? If it survives DNC, it will survive our local racing :D

Joey uses 4 inch pvc sewer pipe im pretty sure. You can flex it if you heat it but gotta be careful not to melt it. Keep in mind its allot harder to atta h to the dirt that weeping tile with an 8 inch spike andwasher.

If you can find a supplier of smooth HDPE conduit, the same stuff telecoms & utility companies use, it's by far the best stuff. It's much thicker than the corrugated tubing, and it's still fairly flexible. You can get different sizes & colors and on big spools. It's quite expensive but will last a long time.

Do NOT buy ADS brand corrugated pipe. It will not stand up. ADS pipe is the most prominent corrugated pipe in the US.

I'm located in Poland but will keep in mind not to buy from ADS if you recommend not to :)

As for the "regular" pvc pipe... Damn! It seems impossible to bend it and create a smooth curve (especially one of bigger radius). HaulinBass, are you sure it's not something more easily bendable? :p

This is what you want...... This is the nice white pipe that holds up over time... The black stuff gets tore up pretty fast..

Many tracks in germany use sand filled firefighter hoses.
Once you have filled them up there ready to use for the next 10-20 years, they are very bendable and dont break if they get older.

I thinking doing that for my RC track. But They fill with sand or whather? Because they don't use connection on the houses, look like is filled with other material not whather and seweing the houses. Do you know how it's made?
