Default SERPENT 811b RTR Nitro

This will be my 2nd Serpent since currently I own the SRX2 mid motor kit. This is my first nitro vehicle and Iím pretty psyched. It seemed like the best buy for an RTR. Anyone have one? Iíve been watching YouTube videos on how to break the engine in and think I will go with Adam Drakeís instructions.

Also, for breaking in the motor, can I use a heat gun versus an engine warmer?

if you know how, pull engine out send to someone like drake for use on thier EBIS(easy break in system) machine..when you get it back put it in and run it lightly for a tank or two then tune it and enjoy a long life no hassle break in

Did you end up purchasing? Yes, I've used a heat gun for all of my nitro engines. Definitely follow adam's break-in procedure.

Beginning to look less like an RTR. I have a Protek BLS steering servo and REEDY aluminum throttle servo Proline Badlands, Serpent aluminum rear hubs, front carbon tower, and more to come.
