vs the lipo how will it perform. Having a 5c lipo , will it give it more punch or will this battery do the same.

Probably perform like a normal receiver pack, will just last a lot longer. As far as punch that all from the nitro motor.

No, the only real difference maker for hv servos is the voltage.

A big battery maybe like 3200 maybe could get you through practice qualifying and a main depending on main length and servo current draw.

Battery’s can have a wide range being drawn from them vehicle to vehicle, however I have been using small lipo packs as an advantage for weight savings along with the fact they are affordable for practice. With that said, 2 hitec 7955 servos and a airtronics m12 receiver I can get my floreon to last a ridiculous while, atleast 1 hour and I drive about an hour each session I go out so that’s pretty safe to say and I charge to always see I used around 700-900 mah so I know where I’m at. 1200mah Floreon battery 15 for 2 batteries, been working for me.

This new battery is smaller than what a friend has in his Eight X currently. The battery he has in it now is a tight fit.

This is awkward, for the longest time i wanted to buy the gen 3 radio tray for my 2.0, but never got to do it. Looking at the specs for this new buggy, i noticed they moved the throttle servo back, to the same(ish) spot it was on the 2.0, because it worked better and improved the servo life. but that was the same argument to upgrade to the gen3 radio tray, improve servo life by moving it away from engine vibration and heat... so which is it; away from the engine or close to it?

I don’t know about the comparison between the 2, 3, or the 4, but on the X it is not close to the motor. Additionally, It is in a unique floating holder. It keeps the servo from contacting the chassis under flex without using spacers in mine (KO Propo RSX 3). So, not deflecting what you are intentioning from changes in claim, but there is good space between the servo and engine as well as servo and chassis.

Is anyone running the aluminum hubs yet? It doesn’t come with a spacer, but looks like it may need one?
