So I would inspect the molding line at the very inner part of the arm, mine cracked upfront. I wouldnít have seen it if I didnít physically flex the arm while it was all together.

on my truggy it happened similar but the crack was a bit more noticeable but I still let it slip my eye and the second time it happened it broke the ball completely off the driveline and mangled the cup. So letting it go and fixing it when it pops out is a bad idea, eventually it will cause more problems like it did me.
wow, hey Matt, thanks a ton! I will definitely be inspecting that thing SUPER close now! You might have just saved me some really serious headaches. So thanks! Yeah, I almost assume it HAD to be broke somewhere, seems impossible it could come out like that if nothing was broke.

Quick question about the shocks. Vented shocks are different from bladder and emulsion? I understand emulsion but is vented like running the bladder without a fixed amount of air in the bladder?

TIA

I want to try this version of the 8ight, but before I make my purchase are their any updates or option parts recommended that help on the performance of the car. Thanks for all the guidance and help.

The set-up sheets say front shock length is 109.25mm. How is this measured ? I can not get that. Also 119.00mm rear shock length is not achievable unless I am missing something.

Look on the set up sheet and see which lower mounting position on the arm that the shock is installed. Then the shock length (center to center) will determine the amount of droop the driver was using. (It will vary approx 4.5mm inside hole to outside hole.)

Has anyone come from a Mbx8 to the X. If so, how would you compare the 2.

Brian can you tell me the shortest shock length setting that can be achieved front and rear ? I was concerned with putting shock end into eyelet.

Does anyone have an opinion on this car compared to what they were driving before?

well, speaking from experience.....I have done 4 race days with the X so far. Not a single part broken, and still going strong. Last I ran, was the 2.0. Either way, Iím very satisfied. Donít worry yourself with going for it, do it. Itís a great vehicle.
Second place this weekend with it! At a big race!

I went from a factory race prepped 4.0 buggy to the X and itís a night and day difference. The X actually turns very easily compared to the 4.0, when you needed to use or feather the throttle to get it to turn correctly.

Chris, not sure I follow what you are looking for? Do you mean how little droop can you run?
