Default Silver state 2018

figured I’d start a thread for the weeks race. My my concern and everyone else’s is what tire to bring? Proline is bringing everything, even some x2 Incase there is a blue groove. As a Proline guy, I had my son bring holeshots, electroshots and fugitives. I’m thinking fugitives.as I’m thinking a groove will develope? We use to race bmx nationals there years ago and the dirt looks the same. Typical Vegas dirt. I guess it depends on the watering?

steve Burgess will be there taking pictures/videos and giving reports on the race. His Facebook page is rugspin graphics

Going to be weird seeing Silver Sate inside but also interesting at the same time. I'm going to guess that a smaller pin tire will be the choice as well.

Yea I saw that too, maybe it made for more room, not to mention building 2 drivers stands and 2 pit lanes

They are using the top row of seating as the drivers stand. Still seems a pretty good height up, can't complain. 1/5th scale track is still under construction.

JConcepts livestream FTW :-D

Son said track is super rough, dirt is soft and not packed. Really surprised no euro guys are there. Payback for neo race or industry is getting tight on spending budgets.im gonna say budgets.

Yeah the driving area is a little low. Hope they figure out something to get us a little higher next year. Some guys are standing on the chairs but because they fold up you have to stand on the very front of the seat. I tried it but it felt to unstable. Ventilation has been pretty good. Staging area was almost unbearable but then they brought in a bunch of fans and it’s not a problem anymore. So far it’s been a huge success imo.

Track has gotten pretty blown out but that’s nitro racing. Thank god for qual points. Mains will be tough tomorrow for sure.
