I posted on Tebos FB page, given he was sharing all his old Neo photos, but he is not attending. A shame really with no Americans. Rooting for Battle and Neumann to do well, although they are not running my brand lol. On another note, looks like those Carbon Hotrace wheels are.popping up more and more.

My son said it’s due to team budgets plus a bit of protest of the venue thrown in. That’s a shame, I was really Looking forward to this race.

What was the issue with the venue? Not being indoors?

Wish I knew more details, but one thing is for sure, they all stuck together on this. Remember last year was the Tessman-tire situation, I’ll try find out more today

probably more to do with it being held on a permanent track it lost a little prestige.also as hairymuffin says it could be a budget thing with worlds being held in Oz that probably eats up a big chunk of the "paid travel" budget for the year for the top guys.

That is the "home track" for a lot of the euro guys, and the layout hasn't been changed in a very long time. Plus travel from the US to Spain is far more expensive than to the UK. Add in the costs of going to AUS for the worlds this year and it doesn't make sense for anyone's budget.

Ronnefaulk mentioned some didn’t want to chance getting rained out. Yes not the same vibe as HarperAdams. Guess we have to wait for the worlds

Judging by the rain delay they are in now, that may have been a good choice. The announcers said the move from Harper was necessary because Harper wanted a huge increase in $$$ to hold the event again. If Joey's Silver State race works out indoors I could almost see it replacing NEO as the "indoor worlds".

What do you guys think of the layout? I cant really spot a section I like - "Oh man I really want to drive that section!" kind of thing; the dirt is in my opinion, terrible. Please don't rake me over the coals - just my opinion.
