Savage XL Conversion Brake Help
 

Hello all! Bought a used “savage xl” back in august, finally broke in the LRP 32 i got for it a few days ago. But this wasnt a savage xl, as the guy listed. It has the extended chassis... and thats it. Came with the .28 engine, the 2 speed, smaller tires, and only ONE brake disc. I noticed after a day at the beach that my brakes stopped working. Tried adjusting the linkage and servo, then a pulled the actual brake lever, and nothing! No brakes applied. In fact, when i disconnected the linkage, the lever just fell out! Idk if this is normal. So now ive got the transmission out of the car, and it looks like there should be something going from that lever to the brake caliper, but there is not. Does anyone know if this is my problem, and if so, what is the part number? I tried consulting the manual online, its not very helpful...
