What happened to MGT 8.0 and TTS50?

Anyone know much about what has become of Team Associated and Thunder Tiger? I cannot find any transmissions for sale and many parts are discontinued globally. Finally decided to fix the old 8.0 and can't now due to discontinued line.

I think the Rival shares alot of parts with the 8.0.

Thunder Tiger are still around, they just released a new electric buggy. I'm finding it hard to find parts for my EB4 buggy, ebay seems to be the best place for that. Can be hit and miss though...

Thanks. I need a new transmission. Cannot find one anywhere, ebay or other stores. Not ever Tower Hobbies. I guess it is all changing huh?!

Hi and thanks. I am in need of a full transmission. I stripped nearly every gear in the current unit and gear shafts/carriers, bearings etc. Basically a whole transmission or all of the internals.

That's a big truck. I've got a Summit, but I don't have room for a second vehicle that size. It takes up a shelf all by itself.
How exactly did you manage to strip ALL the gears in the MGT's transmission? Seems like it should've stopped running after just one gear stripped.

I guess either I didn't know one had stripped, or they all did at the single event. It does have the PowerHouseRC modded engine in it that just cracks along! Revvs a lot more and throws the MGT around. Easy to have 4wheel drift like the lighter 1/8 RC's. At full speed it gets hard to control due to its weight. There is not much left stock on it, even full billet shock upgrade.
