Default RC8B3RS

Fellow RC'ers,

Sorry RC8RS

There is gentleman selling a RC8B3RS for $150. He doesn't know much about the vehicle. HE got it from his brother that he had purchased fro someone else. It looks like new and hasn't been driven much. He hasn't started in some time due to not being able to charger the pro-starter. He thinks it may need a new glow plug as well. Also he states it needs a new receiver. I am curious if you could give some some thoughts on this. I attached some of the photos of the vehicle . Thank you all

Thats an RC8, not a RC8B3. Looks like he will need a bump box, and a decent charger. The Bump Box will need a 4S lipo, the car will need a receiver battery as well, if not already installed. Spare Glowplugs are always good, and a good glowignitor (hot shot or similar). And get a decent fuel - NOT TRAXXAS Fuel!!!

Other than that it may be ready to go. Best of luck.

Is that the same as the Pro-Starter?

Ah i see so that has a handheld starter, you will need to check the battery on that to make sure its still able to hold a charge.

That is a spin start style setup then.

Check here for more info etc. : https://www.teamassociated.com/cars_and_trucks/RC8/RTR/
