Maxed out gear mesh?
Wondering if any one has had this issue.
On my MBX8, the clutchbell/spur gear mesh is too loose, and the chassis motor mount screws are maxed out on the slots on the chassis, they are as far as the can go.
At first I was using the stock screws with the countersunk washers. When I saw it was extremely loose and couldn't get it any closer because the washers were already against the chassis, I switch to some button head machined screws with no washers. Once again, I maxed out movement, and basically pushed them as far as they go on the chassis, it is a little better but by gear mesh is still way too loose.
My kit had come with no chassis in the box and had to contact Mugen to send me one. I wonder if it was out of their bad batch.

Novarossi Mantra, which just to make sure I swapped it with a Novarossi Cinco BT that I have in my MBX7, and problema srill on the MBX8, all fine on the MBX7.
Motor mounts are the factory box ones, with the slotted areas facing outward of course. I do plan on getting the one piece to avoid that gear area flex but not sure this would solve my problem.

Maybe post up some pictures to see if anyone can see something else that is out of the ordinary.

The clutch bell and spur are both box setup stock. I’ll post some pics up later. Thanks!

Anyone running the carbon inserts on their buggy and if so, how do you like them and how is the durability?
I've been hearing folks having issues with them cracking.

Pro builds
does any of the Pro’s do “pro builds”.
Im away for work for over a month and wanted two kits built for the titles when I get back end of June. I shouldn’t have sold my cars last month.
