Default 2017 Heart of America Series

The 2017 season is just around the corner. The schedule has been on the website for several weeks but, for those who have not seen it, here it is.

May 27-28
June 17-18
July 8-9
July 29-30
August 19-20
September 9-10

We will count your best 4 out of 6 races

Once again the entry fee will be $30.

No double points race.

For those who have not heard, the reason we are ending early in September is that we will be hosting the ROAR Onroad Fuel Nationals at the end of the month. Next year we should be back to 7 races.

We will have work to do through out the summer to get ready or the Nats. I will be asking for help along the way.

The track was sealed in the fall and we power washed a lot of paint off in preparation for new paint. Because of the Nats being at the end of the season, we will not paint untill later in the season.

I have a list of things we need to get done for the season and the Nats. I would also like to hear any ideas anyone has about anything you guys feel we need to do.

As we get closer to race time, I will let everyone know when we need help,

Staet getting those cars ready!

I have no problem with that. Just need those who race the class to give their opinions.

Yes, practice Friday. Planning to spray at 10. So, track should be ready by 11. As long as the weather cooperates.

No. But, sometime Friday afternoon someone will be out there washing down the track. So, that might interfere with your plans. But, otherwise, go ahead.

Hey guys, if anybody has a burned up, or broken Novarossi motor, please let me know. I would be willing to buy it from you. The MRX5 that I have been driving the last few years is going on the shelf and I need a paper weight motor to put in the car for display. Thank you!
