I know it is early, but I am making plans for Fall 2017/early 2018 winter indoor onroad racing. Should I plan for 1/12th scale being 13.5 instead of 17.5? Thanks

It's still 50/50 either way. I will ask the guys tonight and post back to what they say. The two tracks that we could draw from occasionaly run 13.5 at one and 17.5 at the other. The above race is using a 13.5. Most of the guys here are using a 17.5. This is no help I know but I will post back tomorrow with some sort of answer for you.

The way it stands now is the motor will be a 17.5. The current racers here that run 1/12th are running 17.5's and would like to keep it that way. I hope that this helps.

It does. Thank you. 17.5 should be plenty of power.

In the winter we do oval, and yes it's on the carpet. We have lots of racers here who do the BRL series so we have those classes as well as some of the off road based car classes.

Hotel info is now on the facebook page. Final schedule for Friday's practice times will be out soon as well. Right now it is looking to be off road practice until 3pm. Track change then on road practice from 4 to close
Hope to see everyone there!

For those coming to the track from Highway 61. There are speed cameras set up at the intersections where you see a Casey's gas station. I'd hate to have you get home and have a ticket waiting for you. So slow down when you see a Casey's.

Default Windy City RC

I hope to see a bunch of Island racers at Windy City this weekend. The remodel is almost complete and the new Black carpet should be installed by tomorrow.
