Hey guys. It was a fun day out there today. Even though the electrics didn't run today I still learned a lot and had a great day at the track. Thanks for letting me run my little white turtle around the track between races. Nomoneymoe, thanks for all the information. I got some stuff ordered that I hope will make the car competitive. Scott

Thanks to everyone who came out and raced this past weekend. Friday was cloudy and cool but turned out to be a great day for practice.

Saturday, mother nature got involved and kept us form doing any racing. But, we did get a few hours of practice in late. While standing around watching the track not dry, we had a new event.,..The Squirrel Toss....while was won by Ron Cleveland. Great job!!

Sunday the sun came out. We started a little late but, we got 2 rounds of qualifying and the mains done.

Pretty good turnout for the first race of the season. Lots of old faces and a few new ones.

Congratulations to the winners:

Tony Block in Nitro Sedan
Eric Jones in 1/8 4WD
Me (Z) in GT8.

See everyone in a few weeks.

I'll second that it was a good weekend for racing, other than the wet stuff Saturday.

It was nice to see as many people there Friday as we did and good racing on Sunday.

Look forward to seeing and hearing more about the pavement work.

So I decided to quit messing around and got a Novarossi on-road engine for my Kyosho GT. It came with an on road Novarossi pipe and manifold. The only problem is the manifold is meant for a 90 degree installation where as I need a 180 for the GT car.

I'm looking at the 41021 or 41031 Novarossi manifolds. Does anyone know what the difference would be? They look about the same. Both are short smooth conical manifolds.

Moe, get the 41001 or 41032. You will need to spead it out just a little to clear the tank. Get a 9886 pipe for Novarossi in the GT.

It looks like you guys will have a couple of Kansas boys to contend with this weekend (but I'm not one of them). Tom D. and Jim W. are bringing an assortment of gas and electric cars, vintage and new.

Good luck to them, and everybody else, too!
