1/28 scale - How Fast Are You?
Several people asked about the micro touring car I had with me yesterday. It's an Atomic AMZ and can run in the classes such as Mini Z, XMod, etc.
There is also a racing series that is based on identical tracks and timed races for this scale- How Fast Are You? (HFAY)
Here are a couple videos showing actual races with these cars (not HFAY).
If interested, talk to Tim at the Plex first as he might be able to get these at the store.
www.rcatomic.com - I got the international version kit rather than the RTR.

Holy crap, you still read up on this forum Jamee! Do you still have any of your micro rc stuff?
I did look at those Kyosho Dnano's but a lot of people who had both the 1/28 scale cars (mini z, atomic amz, etc) and Dnano's said the 1/28 were the sweet spot for handling and cost. Plus the 1/28 scale cars are way more popular worldwide than the Dnano's.

Well, the first layout is down and tested. The car seems pretty well dialed with 40 degree fronts and 20 degree rears on this track surface. I need to get a few more expansion pieces because I still have a bunch of track left over and empty space to fill!
Next, will give it a try with multiple cars on the track. You guys with the AMZ's and Mini Z's, get them ready! We can do some easy going racing on days that don't conflict with races at the Plex.

Wow, that's amazing. Almost like free roaming slot cars.
