Default Jconcepts Indoor National Series Finals - Omaha, NE

The HobbyTown USA HobbyPlex in Omaha, Nebraska is hosting the Jconcepts Indoor National Series Finals December 13-15.

Are you ready to take the title? JConcepts, together with many fine sponsors and race tracks, have organized a first of its kind, a true Indoor National Series. The first 2 years combined attracted over 2000 entries. 2013 is scheduled as a 5 race series across the United States, drivers now have the opportunity to showcase their abilities on a national and regional level. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall nationals make up the seasonal events at fixed locations while the finals will serve as the end of the year bash for the awards and series championship. The series will be awarded based on points participation in 3 out of the 5 events.

JConcepts wants to make the 2013 Indoor National Series one to remember. With a heavier marketing push to provide the best turnout possible for the host track, JConcepts has teamed up with RedRC.net as a media partner to professionally cover select events during the 2013 season. We are looking to make 2013 a breakout year in terms of series participation, factory drivers, representatives and professionalism.

All events will be awarded separately and collectively so those worried about a commitment will be recognized for performance regardless of series participation. City destinations, track facilities and competition level have all been weighed and evaluated ahead of time so rest assured the experience and atmosphere is worthy, now it's up to you. You ready?

20I3 INS Classes
• 1:10 Stock 2wd Buggy
• 1:10 Stock Truck
• 1:10 Open 2wd Buggy
• 1:10 Open Racing Truck
• 1:10 Open 4wd Buggy
• Pro 2 Stock SCT
• Pro 2 Open SCT
• Pro 4 Open SCT

Jason Ruona, Ryan Maifield, Brent Thielke, Dustin Evans and newly crowned 4wd World Champion, Stephen Hartson are scheduled to attend.

The race will have an all new layout. The track will be closed for a week and a half leading into the race. The track always has plenty of grip. Blue and Green Barcodes and Pressure Points are the preferred tire.

How about a Plex Spec/Beginner class. I plan on attending and would like to have my son attend as well. I hate to spend the weekend there and not be able to have him attend.

Unfortunately, there isn't a beginner class.

I signed Emerson up for stock SCT at the race in Texas. That worked out pretty good.

Entries have surged the last few weeks and we are now approaching the 200 mark. If you have planned on making this race don't miss out and get signed up before its full.

If you have signed up, but can not make it, please delete your entry. There's always a handful of racers that sign up for every race on rcsignup and then don't show. Don't be that guy.

Trying to get vacation time scheduled. What day does the track open for setting-up pit spaces and what day does the track open for practice? Will there be a "club race" on Wed or Thurs? I sure hope you are going to set-up some heats or something more organized than the Novak race for practice. I really don't think standing in line and maybe getting a run per session is the way to go. Also, there is no guaranty that people actually marshall and not just get back into line.

Quick questions about the registration for this event.

- Is the 300 limit the number of racers/people or vehicles?
- How would it work if one were to register and then find out you were unable to attend prior to the registration deadline? Would you get your entry fee back?

Thanks!

Hard to believe this race is only a few weeks away. Last chance to get on the track before the race is Sat, so I bet there will be a packed house. Trying to get tires ready for 3 classes has turned out to be pricey; I sure hope the better half doesn't do some snooping through the financials or I will be a gelding by this race.

Fun facts on the entries:
All 3 SCT classes combined=71.....2wd Open buggy=67
How crazy is that...a "G" main!!
Both 2wd buggy classes=112
Over a 1/3 of ALL entries are 2wd buggies....effin AWESOME!!

It'll be interesting to see the #'s of RM vs MM buggies. I know I recently made the switch and love it. But, the Plex isn't your typical indoor clay track, so it'll be cool to see what the fast guys from around the country run. Better bring both if you got'em, jury's still out on the locals.
