bad lipo disposal

Default bad lipo disposal

I have a 3 cell lipo that is swollen and wont take a charge. what is the safest way to dispose of it?

I take all my dead batteries to Interstate Batteries. They will safely dispose of it for free (at least the used to, it's been a while since I took one there).

I believe hobbytown will take them.
You can however drain them down with a discharger all the way down, then stick the pack in a bucket of salt water for 24hr then just toss them.
