Default best SCT for the money?

Need opinions on the best short course truck for the money. My son turns six next month and he wants to race so I am thinking of giving him the slash that I race and getting something else for myself to race. Need something that the plex has good parts support for. Kit or RTR doesn't really matter.

If you want to switch classes, as a 4WD SCT, I suggest you to search for the ofna nexx sc10. I think it is a bit underrated. I drove it, it is durable, very light weight and the spares are cheap. A lot of joy for budget.

For 2wd, I would go with the SC10.

Hands down the sc10.2 is the best truck; the most bang for the buck, and any hobby shop worth going to will have parts for it.

22SCT, thing is dialed once you get it setup properly. Chris, if you want to take mine for a few laps, you're more than welcome to. I won't be back at the Plex until after the Hobby Haven race though.

I figured the sc10 would get most of the votes but being new to the hobby it never hurts to ask.

Wow, that the SC truck with the most wins at the plex always seems to get overlooked.

Electric; if you look at a Kyosho SC R I will ensure you have product support.

Stopped in at the plex after work today and looked at the sc10.2 kit and the losi 22 rtr. Like them both a lot but the price of the 22 is a pretty tough nut to swallow at over 500. I know I will spend that on the sc10 once its all said and done but won't have to drop so much at once. Interested in used rollers so evader I will be in touch or pm me with specifics and a price. Anyone else with a roller that they want to part with let me know. I will be waiting until after summer series is over to make a final decision. Who knows maybe I will get lucky and win one.
