Default dex210 setup

Just picked up dex210 last night. Need suggestions on setup. Rear or mid motor? Shock oil, gearing, battery plan on putting a club Novak system and running it in stock buggy. This is my first kit. Can't wait to get it on the track.

Another excellent resource http://www.petitrc.com/setup/durango...ngoDEX210.html

Definitely rear motor unless you're running on a carpet track or a clay/dirt track with insane grip.

If you plan to run stock, I would look into some RW spur gears. The 87 tooth kit gear will not get the gearing you need for stock. I would look into getting the 69 tooth spur for stock racing. Personally, I've never ran the kit springs as those are primarily for mid-motor set-ups. I prefer to run lt red all the way around with 2-hole pistons. You can always look me up at the track to bounce ideas off of for this car. I run both the 2wd and 4wd Dingos.
