Default Man enough for Short Course?

You all likely know that Joel Briggs is a good friend. Pretty much since day one, he and I have given each other crap about each others classes with Short Course trucks often the main topic of conversation. Well, as a friend, that gives me complete and unquestionable authority to "call him out" in public

I started thinking tonight, just why is Joel so against Short Course? Maybe a little fender rubbing makes him nervous? Having to control a "kiting" truck mid flight takes some unique skills, maybe that's it? Making an inside pass while coming off a jump into a turn and using the truck ahead of you as a "berm" while all still in the air...maybe looks too scarey to him? (lmao, I actually laughed when i typed that)

Anyway, I am starting this thread as a petition for you all to reply to in an effort to get the entire club behind forcing Joel to run at minimum, one heat of Pro-2. I will be stopping by HT sometime this week and pre-registering him for this upcoming Friday night. My SCT finished 3rd the first two nights I ran it. Jeff Heinz came back from a several months vacation, ran it, and also finished 3rd. Tonight, it once again ran very well. The truck is ready. The batteries are charged. The radio is already set to the correct model. His entry fee will be pre-paid. He has no more excuses.

I realize he is already running 3 classes, so I won't force him to run Pro-2 the entire night, but no questions asked, he has to run at least one heat.

Unfortunately, I won't be there to insure this happens, so please, the rest of you, give him as much crap as I do and insist on my behalf that he steps up to this challenge. I will be watching on LiveRC and at the end of the night will finally know...is he man enough?

Not at all, actually. One thing at a time. I need to concentrate on the 3 classes I'm running for summer series before anything else right now. Especially since two of the three cars I'm gonna be running are cars I haven't ran in 6 months.

Wait! One of those trucks will be wearing MY fenders!

You can push Brian around however you wish, but be very gentle anytime you get near Joel!

With Joel driving a short course you might wanna give him an old body to run maybe put some small wheels on the roof of it so he can go further between crashes
