I recently talked to the person that was going to run my second RC8 for points this season. He is not going to be able to run it now. If anyone eles is interested please let me know. I would also be willing to sale it for what I have in it if anyone is interested in buying a 1/8 buggy.

Do you guys still run every other sunday? and is there a schedule posted yet? I live in lincoln but i have family in grand island so i am there on weekends alot. I used to race there when i was young so i would love to join in again when i am back. I have a 1/8 scale buggy(mugen mbx6 eco) so if there is a schedule or any restrictions to motor or anything that i might need to know it would be greatly appreciated

Yes we will be running Sundays again this season. There is a meeting scheduled for this Sunday to discuss track setup and other details including what days we will be racing. For offroad this year the rules are as follows:
Nespeck - Beginners class run what you brung.
1/10 2wd stock Buggy - 17.5 motor in blinky mode, any tires, any battery.
1/10 2wd mod Stadium Truck - Any motor, any tires, any battery.
1/10 2wd mod Short Course Truck - Any motor, any tires, any battery.
1/8 Buggy and Truggy - Any motor, any battery, any tires.
Any 4wd SC trucks (other than Nespeck) will be entered in the 1/8 class if running for points. If a 4wd SC is running with the 1/8 it will be allowed to run any size motor and any cell lipo. The 1/8 class will not be running the week or two before the trophy race to prevent track damage.
All 1/10 vehicels will be required to run 540 size motors and 2cell lipo/6cell nicd nimh battery, 1/10 tires (no 1/8 tires on adapters).

Myself, my dad, uncle, and two cousins all used to race in g.i. but stopped cause the racing starts while church is still in session. My uncle and dad being very active with there church cant make it in time witch brings me to ask ..has anyone else had this problem?and have you guys ever considered starting at a later time(last i knew you guys started at noon or one and ran till 5 or 6). I am only asking cause i know they are all interested in racing but arent willing to skip or leave church early to do so. Any feedback would be appreciated
Thanks for the feedback on the rules as well it was much appreciated

I am Seventh Day Adventist so I havnt run into the problem you are having with R/C racing but I have run into it with other things like Husker games. Last season we were starting at 2pm but we had seperated the oval and offroad to alternating Sundays. We are running both on the same days this year so I am not sure what time we will be starting. I am sure since it is now posted here on Rctech that it will be a discussion for this Sundays meeting. I know last year when we ran both oval and offroad on the same day it would take us 1/2 hour to a hour to get threw the first heat of either offroad or oval witch ever we had started with that day. Maybe we could just start with the oval first then you would have that much extra time to make it. This is stuff that would have to be discussed at the meeting. I hope we can make things work out.

I doubt ill be able to attend the meeting but if i can i will. Thanks for all the feedback i will also relay this to my dad to see if he wants to attend the meeting(he lives in the area). I am asking these questions to try and get my dad back into the sport being that he got me into it as a child and now that i am starting back up i would love to race with him again. Hopefully in the end we can all work something out. Thanks again for the feedback and i will try to either make the meeting or atleast keep posted to see what time frame they decide on.
