The track looks really nice with that yellow pipe, can't believe what a difference that makes on the apprearance of the track. Would have commented on it earlier, but I don't have a FaceBook.

Can't wait to GET.....IT.....ON!!!!!

Default Kyosho Part

Say - is there anyone in Des Moines that is racing round three of SS, that would be willing to stop at HH and grab me a Kyosho Part? I have it pre paid and at the front counter with my name on it. Dillan can’t run Mod Buggy with out the part, it’s a steering plate. Any help would be super appreciated.

PV

handled ! Super Thanks !!!!!

It was really good to see everyone these last couple of days, even if only for a few minutes! I admit, I really miss you all and the quiet excitement and flurry of "race day"! There isn't a better group of guys/gals around anywhere. Congrats to everyone, win or lose. Just being part of it all is a good thing

Also, awesome job to Alex as usual. The track looked great and was fun to drive (Joel let me take a few test laps early in the morning). I've been keeping tabs on you all on LiveRC as much as I can and even saw most of the Mains last night. As always, with everyone's help, he kept the event running smoothly!

Looking forward to seeing you all again Round 4!

Track was fun and traction was good all day, didn't really dry out....Plex crew must be figuring something out.

If anybody has any spare time this evening and tomorrow morning/afternoon we're making a few changes and resurfacing the track and could use a little help.

Unfortunately I dont have one i could lend you, but do make sure that it is a Novak 17.5. We are restricted to Novak. Also make sure you have an ESC with No Boost or Blinky mode. Final Drive ratio also needs to be 8.5 or higher. Hope you can work it out. Love to see all the SCB's out there. Its my favorite class to run.

Default Short Course Buggy Final Drive Ratio

Hello all, this is Don if you are unfamilar with my userID. Lately there has been some misunderstanding and confusion as to what your Final Drive Ratio (FDR) should be for the Short Course Buggy Class. I have created and attached a chart with different spur and pinion combinations to help assist. In green reflects a legal FDR and in Blue is a more optimal FDR to get as close to 8.5 as possible. Your FDR should be no better than 8.5, meaning an 8.49 FDR will not pass tech inspections. Good luck to all this weekend running SCB, it will be a great time like always. If you have any question feel free to send me a PM or talk to me at the Plex.

Don thanks for the spread sheet.

Upon further review I have a 23/78 in Dillan's SCB not 24/78. I gave you bad info earlier.

He has been running 8.82 all along, I hadn't considered using an 82 spur and now I can get him way closer to 8.5.

thanks again

Gonna be 96 this Saturday. Sounds like the Plex will be a sweat lodge. Oh well, better than getting fried outdoors.

I hear the new drag did wonders for the racing surface can't wait to get some racing in this weekend with the new cars!
