It may be your body, but not your slash or you driving it.

Where can I read the rules for the SCT classes? Can I look at the ROAR rules and go by that?

I've seen some pretty wild SCT's out there. I guess what I'm wondering is if someone showed up with an 1/8 buggy with SCT tires and body on it will it be allowed to race in the 4wd SCT class?

I'm trying to decide if I should run this class. It looks really fun but I would like to not have to compete with highly modified trucks. It would be much more fun if everyone had the same basic concept of a truck.

You guys should dust off your vehicles and come to our JConcepts race in Feb. @ SMACTrac in St. Louis. Here is the link to the thread:

I guess its up to you. You can start by racing in Plexpec or Masters and then move up to Pro-light or Pro-2 whenever you feel ready to. That's what the Plex classes are there for.

You're looking way to deep into this.

It's a 1/10 scale rules sheet. So, a 1/8th buggy would not be allowed to run.

I'm thinking about getting the ofna hyper 10 SC.

Come on, this season will be my first season running Mod Buggy, and now you might not. Please race it. Are you scared?

Thanks for gettin back to me I just have to be sure. It's happening elsewhere with SCT. People have an insane brushless 1/8 buggy and put a SCT body on it. So, I guess I thought it was necessary to ask or bring it to your attention.

Yeah, that ofna truck looks good. Fast too! But, I think I'll probably run 2wd anyway so I can race it here in Lincoln also. I'm just kicking the idea around so I can have some fun locally too.

What SCT's are you guys going to be heavily stocked for? I imagine the Losi and Traxxas for sure. Any others?

Jeff, I have my mod buggy still. Hopefully I can actually race it this year. I still don't even have it set up. The last time I drove it the car was horrible. I'm racing it next week indoors so maybe the new setup I have will work better. If not, I may go back to a B4 or some other buggy.

Don't listen to those guys giving you crap about lists. Lists are for people who get things done. I have a schedule book and a planner. I have a list for every project I'm currently working on and am going to work on.

Thumbs up

This is great news and will try to take greater advantage of it this coming year. It is ideal because I can get some racing in without committing an entire weekend day.

Wow. That ofna truck is completely bad to the bone.

I've loved the idea of 1/8 electric IF I had lots of money burning a hole in my pocket.

This looks awfully close but will run on the bats, motors, and speedo I already have!

NICE!
Me want bad. I've got a birthday in Feb. Hope they are in stock then!
