I don't know what to say, Jamee.. it seems you just really have it out for me. I'm sorry for intimidating you or whatever I did by trying to hop on the team and help. At least your dreams of bulldozing the offroad track may come true. I just hope it is after I'm gone...

Seriously? Seriously. It is really tough to make everything perfect gentlemen. If it wasn't for some very suave behind the scene help from the big C.Y. the years that I spent running the show would not have been so great. I'm just now figuring this out now that I have to talk to the sponsors and get everything lined up for what I want to do up here.

Now that it is a club running the program down there you have to give it some time to build. You can't rush into things, although the pro series, and getting Carlton to come up is a really big deal, for both sides of the drivers stand.

Here is where the problem lies as far as I can see it: Ben wants a "Big Race", but why? How many big races did I try and hold that actually worked? Not many. It's like Lincoln has this big forcefield around it that keeps peeps from travelling to it.

There are already big races almost every good weekend. The Star City Classic was always Memorial day weekend. Well guess what? There's a big race in K.C. that weekend. What about July 4th...oops Mugen race in K.C., how about labor da...oh yeah, the big race in Des Moines. It's really tough to find any good open dates any more.

My advise is to get the offroad rolling again by working on your base. Get some flyers made up that promotes r-t-r racing, and get them posted at the Htowns. Try to make racing fun again, and worry about "Big Races" next year.

cool.. at least that was a productive post.. when all else fails.. ask someone that knows what they are doing.

I do want a big or bigger race.. because it keeps the spirit alive. If you haven't noticed.. people liked having that trophy race in Omaha. I bet they would go to Lincoln to participate. Maybe not.. the force field theory may be true. I don't know... But, I still think there should be at least a throphy race (star city classic). The other races that I suggested would not take place this year.. but, 2007 or 2008.. but, need worked on ASAP to make a possibility.

Scheduling them on July 4th and memorial day was always something I've said is a bad idea. Due to K.C...

I'll be gone next year.. good luck all.. it should be fun this year on the same layout and no trophy races anyway.

Robert! Nice post! 100% agree

I think the offroad will be fine this year with Adam gone, Jamee will do fine, I really want a new layout though, this one is getting really lame

I would like to give Nolan W. "BIG UPPS" for the awesome job he did on the schedule layout. Very professional. This will get us noticed.

In case you missed it: http://www.rctech.net/forum/attachme...hmentid=113274

Check out mini racing thursday nights 6:00pm, Hobby Town (southpoint). The most fun I've ever had, racing.
