Tires and wheels must be made for the Mini, no touring tires and wheels.

Have the Tamiya mini tires gotten any better or do they still blow?

The tamiya tires, in my case, blow when I go into a turn and the glue that place to hold the tire on the rim lets lose sending me into those fabulous pipes that I continually try to move with my little mini.

I remember the days of getting months and months out of a set of mini tires.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday !!!!!

The first race of the M.S.R.A. Mini Cup is this Sunday, 14 March.
Remember you MUST have a Deans female connector from your speed control to the motor. There will not be any plugs available at the track. Remember there is a one time twenty dollar fee for motor usage this year. These motors must last two years, so treat these motors with care.

Motor rules:
1.) There will be NO tampering with the motors, any tampering will cause you to be disqualified from the series for the year.
2.) Only clear (see-thru) comm drops allowed.
3.) Maximum pinion gear is twenty tooth as per Tamiya rules.
4.) If you destroy a motor you will be required to pay for a replacement motor ($45.00) before you can race again. No exceptions.
5.) Motors will be selected by a random drawing.
6.) Motors will be used for qualifying and mains ONLY !!!

Other rules:
1.) Any wheel and tire that was designed for Minis allowed.
2.) Any body that was designed for Minis allowed.
3.) Random teardowns will happen !!!

Remember that Mini Cup mains are 15 minutes long.

Also, there are NO rainouts or makeup race dates for the Cup races. The Cup series allows two drops during the season.
