Default R/C Track in Mayfield, Ky

Looks like there is gonna be plenty of places to race in the surrounding area. Jackson Purchase Hobbies in Mayfield has a new track that is just about complete. The drivers stand is top notch, about the same design as the one at Redline in Marion. I stopped by there the other day and Randy said they are going to run on weekends that the BULLET isnt running. From what I can tell there is quite a few 1/8 scale, MT and Slash's in the area.

Be sure and tell a rep from the track to post updates on here when they can. And tell them to use www.rcsignup.com as well. It's a cool site and really helps exposure for your track and draws in racers that otherwise might not find out about it any other way. Just a thought.

we will be running AMB but at this time we do not have house transponders. we are thinking about renting personal transponders out, kind of like rent to own. the rent you pay will be applied to the purchase.

i would love to come to the bullit but we need to stay here and get some work done on the track. we still have a lot to get done before we can race.

as far as running with us Ky hackers, if you can't hack it get your jacket.

david, you can be a team chubby member for sure. you don't have to be fat to be part of Team Chubby, anyone that likes to hit the track HARD can be join.

we did a bunch of work on the track this weekend and still had time to run several laps. the track is running in good it seems.

the plan now is.... the 13th theam chubby will be racing at reo raceway,
the 20th we plan to have our first race at jackson purchase hobbies. it will be a practice run for us as far as running the race so we will not be charging any entry fees. if we servive that and all the racers still like us we will start the next week with our regular schedule racing every other saturday opposite of bullit town.

i know ther will be racing at bullit town but any that would like to join us on the 20th will be welcome.
