I’m sorry flanged bearing not tapered brain fart from long night and tearing into truck right after..

The spur gear 50t left the same or little less gear mesh since I can leave motor mounted
When removing diff from truck so the hot bodies diff was probably already a 50t (never counted teeth)but the other diff does look smaller in comparison

Btw if it’s a muggy the gear pitch is different than a stock lst cause when I pulled diff the first time cause I heard a crunch due to a chipped tooth I tried swapping just pinion and that’s when I noticed how notchy it was and gear mesh wasn’t right

I ordered new back ups just in case the front is a muggy diff though

I double checked specs and my x8t 6 pole blah blah is a 4074 so to me that’s not an appropriate motor for a 13lb truck with big tires and thick diff weight.

So I might try a 4082 or 4092 or 1717 if it fits

4092 or 1717 is the only sane choice.

Yeah I agree but my conversion might not allow either.

I did count spur and it is 50t. Never assume used and never believe the internet lol

One more thing on 6s my cd is at its brink of controllability so motor has the power so maybe my 5s is contributing some of my heat issue just for the fact at wot the truck sounds like a drag car running the 1/4 but set up for the 1/8th

So I went and bought those hot racing shock bodies and they were worth it and since I only paid $15 for all 4 it was stupid not to try them.

On my cd truck I couldn’t wait for the 54t spur from the 3xl so I bought a 52t for a rc8t

I thrashed on the truck with high speed runs and I was rewarded with 130* temps

It was cheaper than getting a new motor but a 4082 1600kv motor might be in the works when I do some more research on it

My new mounts

With a beetle bug body had to use a rustler mount

This is what I used only mod was the shrink tubing so it would fit tighter

These are the rear saved if wifey ever wants a different body. One black and one cheap blue worked perfect

And wing didn’t look bad either

Does anybody have an upper deck top plate?

I was going to do a different style center diff conversion using Monsters hybrid center diff motor assembly. I got everything out to build and somehow lost one of the upper deck plates.

If anybody has an odd spare let me know

Thanks art

Toro got some size to it but the hobbystar is just like the leopard 4092 but better in some areas

Didn’t need the fan but it’s already hooked up

I’m only 5s geared 54/15 I did a dozen flat out runs then hit every neighbors yard and just plowed through the grass wheelies constantly and this never wheelies unless from a stop.

My peak temp throughout the 15 minutes was 115* so I’m getting somewhere I think
