MT410 Electronics

Heres another MT410 thread to add to the rest :) I'm gonna get an MT410 and I need to know what electronics to get if I want to keep things on a budget. I was gonna get LRP iX8 Speed Controler and LRP Dynamic 8 Brushless Motor 2200kV but the esc has some bad reviews on it. I don't know what to do for a servo for around 50 dollars either. Can I please have some help. I am definitely going to do this on a budget and would like sensored

I dont have a mt410 but i am converting a Losi LST into brushless at the moment. Thinking about going for a Hobbywing esc and a Tenshock x802L motor. In the past i had a HObbywing 1/8 esc and really liked it. Also had the Tenshock X812L motor and also liked it very much.

I dont read a lot about LRP brushless motors nowadays. Thats why i should not choose them, but thats personal.

When you get the quality of a Tekno, going budget for all other parts besides the kit might not be the best thing...

Stay away from LRP 1/8 motors, the case machining always leads to housing failures. Have ran 4 motors all with the same endbell separation. Save your money, not worth it, Dynamic 8 or 10 L

I the second the hobbywing ESCs. They're affordable, easy to program, and are really smooth.

Maybe you can check out JX HV servos, others like billdelong have consistently had good luck with them.

I'm looking at the Hobbywing Max 8 ESC with a Tenshock X802LV2. I was advised to keep the kv under 2000.

Hobbywing ESC are good, the max 8 and max 6. Even the Mamba Monster X is dope, but it is more expensive. The max 8 is a good buy because they bundle it with the programming card as well. Even the HW quickrun ESC is a decent choice which cost even less than the max 8. The Mt410 is light and small, it doesn't need anything above a 120A 1/8 scale ESC.

Well I got the lrp system a while ago and It seams nice and I really hope it does good  What servo should I go with? I was thinking the Airtronics ers-963 or the savox 1230 sg. The savox would be about 35-40 and the airtronics would be 45-50. For the battery I will most likely go with a new smc. What do you think about used batteries? I am only 15 so that is why I'm doing this on a budget.
