I'm running 50k front n rear on 5s with 1717 1650kv 29t pinion 63t spur. 45wt in shocks front n rear with adjuster cranked at least a 1"

I assume not enough on power steering? If that's the case running a lighter fluid in the rear than the front usually helps. Also you gotta remember, Buggybasher's and my truck are a little different than the XXL2e since our motor is out back with the battery up front. I haven't weighed the motor or battery but I think the battery is a little heavier. Either way it's still a monster truck with lots of weight transfer that needs to be managed to get it to do what you want. Occasionally you'll need to let off the throttle or tap the brakes to transfer weight to the front to help it turn in.

This is true, is run my lipos up front and it adds a lot me total weight to the front. The weight of my motor and esc in the rear is light consider to the 5s lipos, so I have always ran this diff wt combo in my emaxx for a while and liked it, so far as worked well with the lst also. I'm running the gas xxl chassis with a aftermarket mount that accepts my 1717 motor on the rear of the chassis.
