hey Werner...... you do have some epic launches and 4 wheel landings ....... you must have some epic fails also ? just looking at the durability aspect of it. How about some crash landing videos ?

the hyper mt crashes look quiet boring... but i will do an edit about it as soon as my editing software works again !

Nice.. I've been flying planes and quads mostly the last few years, but still run my Tamiya truggy around sometimes. I do miss bashing trucks, but just can't justify the expense of RC cars anymore. It's good to see there are still guys out there having fun just bashing their MT's around.. Keep it up...
So how is this compared to say an Arrma? I'm not about to buy anything new, but am curious. Just saw an ad for the new Hyper SS truggy RTR - any good?

i also had trouble with money for the hobby. i should go back to mountain bike as it is cheaper !
i never had a arrma, it is too mainstream for me !
and i do always modify my cars anyway, you know that !
all i can tell you is that the buggy hobao hyper vse did a good job out of the box ; more reliable than a mugen and a tekno ! after some modifications it is even my most reliable basher ! no other did multiple sextuple backflips !
about truggies : to me they will always be more fragile than buggies because of the long arms ; but that's because i do stupid jumps !

Racing was the main money pit. I still have thousands in my truggy, with numerous engines, pipes, new clutches, tires, etc etc... just laying around. It all being so old, I could barely give it away too... Hurts to think of how much wasted money it all represents...
Anyway, keep going for it. Gigantic silly jumps is what RC (cars) should be all about afaic...
