"New" Rival?
 

Noticed the Rival's price has dropped, and T/Hobbies has it listed as "New" or "Coming Soon", and that is with multiple models including the base and Lipo included version.

Did they make any improvements or changes? Always wanted one of these but the initial price was a bit much to swallow considering the crappy motor/ESC combo and shocks. However, with a price drop and any improvements, perhaps it is a decent truck?

This was last time I heard about anything new for it. From about 6 weeks ago.

Saw one once when it first was released. But never seen one run

This makes me a sad Panda, and hate when companies do marketing like this. Same old truck, nothing new or improved.

Oh well, I'll look for a roller :-)

all they did was take the old truck and add lipos and a charger..

Pretty sure the "new" truck has an upgraded ESC. I know for certain it's different from the ESC that came with my truck.

It would be cool if they updated it to be 6s capable like the Losi XXLe and the Savage.
