Well what can I say, the truck has gotten a beaten from hell and back and I started hearing the clicking noise. So upon inspection I found the rear diff to be missing a tooth from the ring gear. Also notice that the diff outputs would not spin in opposite directions and found the sun gears completely eaten away. Lucky enough to have spare parts to fix that.

I then tore the front apart and found a eaten pinion gear but the diff spins great. I'm in the middle of doing this right now and will update if the inside of the front is gone lol. I'll also take the tranny apart for inspection too. 5s sometimes 6s with the 1717 seems to have taken its toll finally lol.

Did you fix the truck? It has been 2 months since your last post. Also none of your pictures shows because photobucked is messed up. It seem the 1717 may be too powerfull for any parts to hold up, didn't you run the 1717 on your old FLM e-maxx and alot of aftermarket parts were destroyed as well?

Still have the truck, sorry it's been so long for a reply as I'm going thru a lot of personal and family issues. However I am in the middle of switching out the gearing so I can pull my 3yr old around in a wagon for Halloween. I've done it with my emaxx and never have the proper gearing so hope with doing right this time it should be a lot easier on the truck. Plus I'll have one less kid this yr to pull around and he is only 33lbs. Waiting on some new hpi pins to replace one in the tranny, soon as those come in and I'll try to get a practice video up before Halloween.

hpi gtxl 1 xl body, painted it a while back but have yet to actually use it. It fits the losi perfectly long as you don't use the wing. I took mine off

I've grown to like the wing, more for a wheelie bar than anything. You get on two wheels and hit that wing you can keep the whole truck from going over all the time. Now if I want it can still get the truck to rotate all the way but the wing allows me to have some fun. I love this body on the truck, and hate to beat up on it, it fits perfectly and looks bad ass. My only complaint would be that it appears to be super thin compared to a proline body but like everything other body I do it's reinforced with drywall and shoegoo in the entire body.

So this past Sunday I did 3miles pulling my 3yr old in a wagon....worked flawlessly, gearedas low as I can at 66t/16t running 5s. I did 3mi off of 2s and 3s for 5s 7200 mAh down to 3.7 per cell. I have the data log as well to show that the system doesn't appear to be working to hard and I managed to pull myself for a min and also my neighbor.
