RedCat Terremoto v2
Anyone have any first hand experience with the terremoto v2 1/8th brushless m/t from redcat? Looking at adding a basher to my line up and this is in budget. i also was looking at the summit and cen colossus.

try the Blx 10
no i haven't had any experence with the car you mentioned but try the blx 10. It's cheep which is good because there are a couple of things that need serious upgrading from what you get in the the shop. but with the upgrades its altogether a great easy maintanaince basher.

One of my buddies got one recently. I was impressed with performance and looks. He already broke an a arm but Im not sure under what conditions. The truck turns in a dime and it rarely wheelies on pavement but it hooks and go. It stays with our Yeti XLs on top speed wit 4 cells. I like it but reliability remains a question as its pretty new.

That's my only issue if I should buy it, reliability and parts availability.

I'm pretty sure that Redcat would not tell you that parts are not available. That would go against their primary goal of selling a vehicle. That would be my last choice for confirmation on parts availability. I would scour the internet and make sure that the parts on the truck that may commonly break are available and not listed as out of stock. That would be the answer on parts availability.

Yea just go to Redcat Racing and pull up the Terremoto V2, and do parts search and look. They have 5 pages or more of just bout every part on that truck and they all say in stock. I don't understand why people are so scared of parts availability from them. Yes you have to order. But if your LHS is like mine if it ain't Traxxas then you gonna order parts. I've got a hpi right now that I just ordered two Aluminum hub carriers from Hong Kong, took me 6days to get them. Not bad from Hong Kong! So RedCat is not as bad as people are making them out to be. And from my research there are more pos reviews than Neg.
