Ok... let me know how crow taste?
Here is a video of the same design with a 14.2" it only uses a single lipo on 4s and because the wheel base is 4 inches shorter it uses a different Yeti body. The next build I'm doing of this build will be using the Yeti XL body and 1/5 scale beadlock wheels with the RC4WD Dune Reaper tires. It will also be using titanium a-arms and pins. 600.00 plus the is titanium is not just for looks but so that it holds up to anything you can throw at it.
Oh and this shorter 14.2 with the 40 series tires with 4500 4s lipo on board weighs 12 pounds!

This is going to be the end all of what a ultimate 4x4 is. Not cheap but the very best never is!
I'm using the Losi LST2 or the XXL as the platform of the build. Titanium is going to be everywhere and that doesn't come cheap. I will also be making custom Carbon fiber pieces to keep with it looking good and also so that it is very strong and light weight.
Here is some of the parts that you will see in the build.

This the is what the chassis will look like but on a 18'' wheel base and duel lipos on the sides of chassis. The pins and suspension will be Titanium. Summit trans will mostly be stock. The servos for the steering will be a pair 400oz Hitec 7954 servos. The shifting servo will be a HV micro so that the system runs on 7.4v. The wheel hubs will be 24mm so that the 1/5 RC4WD Dune Reapers can be used. The body will be the axial Yeti XL and also a truck cab so that it looks like a short course truck at times. I also plan on using the RC4WD 1/5 paddle tires at times.
I will be running a custom LED light system, and custom bumpers also.
This current chassis is a 14.2"

I already have a Desert Buggy that weighs under 20 pounds and it is awsome. But this new one will be better.
I have 2 DBXL's that are 1/5 scale and one is what your look to expect the other isn't and much better looking. Although they are both better looking than what your driving.
This first picture shows a 1/5 DBXL next to a 1/8 scale DBXL.
