Solid axle monster trucks
 

Has there been and brands going to release a new solid axle mt? I really want one and the only ones I can find is the clod buster and fo-xx and mad force. I would really like to custom build one with the rc4wd axles but I'm no pro. I also see the one guy from rccar action has built one from a yeti! That would be cool. Anyways do you guys think anyone is gonna release one soon? I want one haha. Do u think the rc4wd digger axles will fit on a fo-xx? Thanks for reading post your replies!

Wheely king is still out there, and a really cool truck! Might be a bit on the small side but tons of aftermarket support and can basically transform it into any type of truck you want.

Personally I think they look best with links just a tad longer, but keep the stock chassis, MT wheels/tires and pickup truck body.

I'm looking for more of a bigger scale. If I wasn't I would get the wheely king. Any good aluminum chassis out there that will fit the rc4wd digger axles?

Check that out. Crawford Performance Engineering "Barbarian" using Wraith axles...but could really use just about any axles you want. Tamiya TXT axles are another popular choice I think.

Only solid axle trucks I own are SCX-10 based and Clodbuster based so I don't have a lot of knowledge about this, but I do think solid axle trucks are very cool!

I have a few cpe monster trucks I have two barbarians one in carbon and one in aluminum, and a clodbuster terminator in carbon. I'm still some what of a newbie. And was able to put all three together with no issues. The terminator clod is cool but it's old technology. The barbarians I have are axial based, and I've found them to take a heavy beating before breaking. I'd much rather have the axial trucks cause the aftermarket parts availability is much larger than the clod buster stuff. Just my two cents. There's another site called clod talk, all they talk about is monster trucks. If you get a moment you should check out the site. Btw I had the terminator clod for sale on here but let the ad expire, not to many people are into the big trucks anymore. :cry:

I have the Mad Force Kruiser BL. I used to have a Wraith too, but the Kruiser is much beefier. 8th scale really makes a difference vs 10th scale in terms of components. In fact my whole Wraith experience was a huge letdown. It constantly broke down and would always tip over while cornering. Neither is a problem with the Kruiser. At first I wanted it to be bigger, and was fiddling with the idea of stretching it to Savage XL size. But with the speed it has I've later found it's size to be just perfect. Larger truck only calls for more space, which in turn limits good basing spots.

Sorry, not the best of pictures. Steering servo is currently being replaced. I paid $369 with discount coupon from Amainhobbies two years ago. It's given me some of the best fun I've ever had with an rc. Very happy with it.

Im huge into Kyosho mad forces. i have a bunch (older kits and mad armor) But i recently picked up the KE25 RTR Verison and has out performed my older mad forces. i have about a half gallon threw it now and have not broke anything. I prefer my mad forces over my savages and tmaxxs, its also bigger then both my savages and tmaxxs

I also just bought a Mad Force Kruiser 2.0 with the .25. I ran 2 tanks of break in through it so far. I ran it on 30% Bones fuel and it ran great! Started in 2 pulls on both tanks and didn't stall once. Even though it's still got the low speed break in carb insert in it was a blast to drive! It was like watching a real monster truck drive around an arena:D And quality is another point, too. It's very well built and quite solid feeling, but it is pretty light for it's size. I even slammed into a hidden water main sticking out of the grass with the front axle and no damage was done to the truck, I couldn't even find a scuff mark on the axle. I got mine from tower for $380 I think it was, shipping was free. Great truck, I'm really happy with it. My T Maxx handles better, but I like the Mad Force more overall.

Can someone please tell me what body this is? I like this body! How did you cut the body so that it allows for air flow into the chassis. Also, how do you cut the line so straight. Do you use hobby scissors? I can never cut the body straight, specially with my hobby scissors.

That is a Slash body, it looks really cool too! Did you have to drill new mount holes or did they line up? The T Maxx holes are awefully close to the Mad Force holes I have discovered.
