Hey everyone. I'm contemplating one of these trucks. But I'm thinking of going the lazy route. Only becasue I've been out for a while and don't know what's what as far as what I'd need for electronics.

My question is, is the RTR version the same as the PRO model you build?

The RTR is limited production, not sure if you can find one, as the kit is on BO everywhere, even Pro Line....I didn't care for the combo used.....BUT if they work for you at that price go for it. The rtr is the same as the kit, but with servo, tx, rx, motor.

Mine is in Backorder heaven for ????? I have my parts box bulging SO........

Is anyone running the Traxxas VXL power-plant? Seems like a cheap option to power this truck?

So they don't even have a system in 2016 capable of telling you it's backordered before you order it? WTF?

Guess they don't mind losing a sale, I'll have to look for another truck.
Or I could not be a lazy prick and build one.

The rear ones are in stock at Proline:

http://www.prolineracing.com/perform...kit-rear-arms/

The front ones are one EBay:

Or RC-Mart:

Hope it helps!

Gotcha. I feel pretty stupid! Googling "Proline pro mt front arms" got me nothing, but Googling the part number did. Thanks!

No problem!
Do you have the exploded views?
They are on the Proline site, that is how I found the parts to.

Yeah, found the exploded views on Pro-line's website. I don't actually have a Pro-MT yet, but I was doing some research on parts support before getting one. Thanks!

Just picked up a ProMT for $200 new in box this week... I finished the build with a Castle SCT 3800kv Sidewinder combo running a 19T pinion and stock spur on 2S. All I can say is WOW... this thing hauls the mail and wheelies on demand. I cannot imagine running this thing on 3S.... but naturally I am going to try it

2 bills is a sweet deal ! I'm still waiting from Tower, with my discount I'm looking 260......

I have a 3500 velineon hardly used with the ESC from my Slash.....It likes 3s, What I've heard is to weight the truck by moving the front battery stop forward, that helps ! keep us posted!

I'm going to be converting my Pro-2 SCB to a Pro-MT based 1/10 stadium truck to race and bash. I'm going to be following this guide and will post here as i do the conversion. All the parts have been ordered
