I just ordered one of these. Can anyone tell me what are the max dimensions for the battery? Also what pinion should I start with. I would like to run a ROC412 1800KV Tekin motor on 4s.

Just received my kit. Along with my CF shock tower braces. Not too impressed with the fitment between the two pieces. Holes are off about half a hole.

Well after a full weekend of bashing the truck I'm happy with it for the most part. I did bend one rear inner pivot pin. The pivot block is all stretched out too. Everything else held up well.

I looked for a new set of pins and a new pivot block but all I could find was a complete set of pins for $23 at Tower. C'mon Proline I don't need an entire set. It would be nice if I could buy just the rear set.

The Traxxas ones do not fit?
Or a piece of a drill bit?

Might try 19/86 to start. Just watch the temps.

I am looking to run a Savox 1256 without BEC. Do you think the CC mamba max pro will work?

Might get more answers in the Radio and Electronics forum.

Weekend 2 of bashing saw a lot of big air and a broken rear stub axle. Tower says parts are "on order". Guess I'm out of commission until they come in.

I id try a 23T pinion with the 86T spur gear. It's a little too much. Temps were fine but it was just too fast. I'm going back to the 21T pinion.

ROC412 1800KV motor on 4S.

That is not the best combo, Savox and Mamba ESC's.
May I ask why you do not want to run a BEC?
A capacitor/glitchbuster in the receiver helps to.

I Like using BEC's, but that is just me.
A glitchbuster could help to.
But I would try it without a BEC, and if it does not work, buy and install one, or a glitchbuster

Is there a factual issue YOU HAVE HAD ?

the 1256 has great torque, MM2 has adjustable BEC....Why run another? and why a glitchbuster?

Just new stuff to me need good facts

With what I have in this ride, whats a few $$ more?

I personally do not have expierence with that problem, but I heard quite a few people who had brown outs with a Savox servo, and a Mamba ESC.
But that was in the MMP and the MMM1 v3 time, maybe the BEC in the MMX is better.
I would just drive it, and if you seem to have brown outs, get/make a glitchbuster or a BEC.
No need for fixing a problem that is not there

Well, on the other hand I think a seperate BEC ( I like the Castle 10 amp one ) never hurts..
