Id go with the leopard or the flux torque, there both cheap on ebay lol. Cant give you an answer on the esc yet as I have yet to run the HWs yet. So stoked to try them tho
i got the hobbyking and trackstar esc, both 150a. I already got the tork 2200 and made 2 runs on 6s on my truggy. worked fine, but how long will a motor last at 50 000 rpm ?
leopard and tork , same quality ?

i thought a lower kv maybe more reasonnable... like 1400kv but with a bigger pinion gear. Will this setup go as fast and produce less heat ?

Yes a lower kv motor in your buggy will have much less heat. One of my 2200's is 4 yrs old.

Are you trying to go fast and have bash ability? Then grab a 1600, 1900, 2000kv motor. Been reading things lately that suggest castle motors are now made by leopard.
