Problems w/ Dynamite Tazer ESC
 

ECX 1/10 Ruckus- 3300kv Dynamite Tazer (Brushless) 45A ESC

After blasting up & down the street a few times after bearing replacement my nephew shut the controller off but not truck. The truck jerked forward then took off full throttle. Luckily it hit a snow bank and didn't go far.
I took it in, propped it up and tried programming the ESC, which I've done before, but after the 2nd step (neutral) the engine begins to race full throttle again...
Basically, I'd like to know why the truck takes off and the motor races without touching the throttle trigger and how to fix it.

The Dynamite booklet and ECX manual ain't much help.
