OLD easy start has some problems but is a decent system if you take care of it, WAIT til Sept 9th when the NEW, REVISED T-MAXX comes out (for the same price) and it is supposed to have a NEW BULLETPROOF E-Z START system,
As for the MT....Good truck but for the money BUT there are more hop-ups and the TMAXX comes with a 2 speed for about the same money

how much will the new tmaxx and the savage.
do any of them come in a kit
do any of them come in a kit
#4

New Tmaxx should be same as before place i go to sells for 419.99, as for the savage i dunno, the TMAXX is a RTR as always and the HPI is a RTR also I THINK
#5

which one is better
#6

I would go with the TMAXX personally, 90% or so of the parts from the old one fit the new one and all the aftermarket hopups are already out there, with the HPI you'll have to wait for the hopups to come out.....also reverse is an option on the HPI you'l have to add later and it comes STANDARD on the TMAXX
#7

what engine does it come with
#8

comes with a NEW 2.5cc(.15cu.in.) Rear exhaust, Slide carb, engine rated somewhere around 1HP
#9

when r they going to be out
#10

sept 9th
#11

even the savage
#12

word i got on the savage is sometime in November
#13

Savage is RTR, comes with a .21 engine, priced around $425. Go to www.hpiracing.com for a lot of info. Available in Nov. Personally I am going to sell my E-maxx and get a Savage.
#14

ok lets analyze this for a sec......$425 for a truck that does not come with reverse and then on top of that you get the good ol' HPI parts trees where you have to buy 15 parts you don't need to get the one you do need.....hmmmmmm
#15

But you get a .21 engine!!! And a chassis and drivetrain that is built for it. Why do you need reverse? Just go over stuff in the way!!
A lot of people buy the forward only gears for the T-maxx to get rid of reverse.
