I've never had one of the "slash" style chassis.

They can't be serious in calling this a trail rig....this thing would obviously do HORRIBLY on the trails. I mean a 12t motor is WAY too fast for any sort of "trail" driving. Its going to over heat so fast......

Gosh a lot of hate here! I know I know, good ol' Traxxas making ANOTHER chassis sharer but I personally like the "Slash" chassis and although I highly doubt this truck, even with whatever mods people figure out to do to it, will ever out trail/crawl my Wraith, it does seem pretty neat. And it would be a much better basher than the Wraith for sure.

They are brusgmhed motors, they wear out...

I runa brushed motor in my Trail finder 2 and they don't wear out after a few runs.

There is also a big difference in a 12t "race" motor and a crawler motor. Of course your motor will last longer, but so would a 12t if your same truck with the same gearing. But I agree with you. Frankly, they don't compete with the competition for brushed motor reliability.
