Quick question for you savage techs... I have this linkage on the carb, is there a trick to getting it off? I can't figure it out!

Ok thanks... and I wondered why it was just reving and not going anywhere...

Haha jk that's why I'm pulling the motor. Replacing with a metal 52t and a 17t cooled cb. My next question of the day, the new spur is a bit bigger then the old one. I can't seem to get the motor mounts to line up without binding the mesh, any ways to fix this?

Don't put a 52t on there.
Get a robinson racing combo from ebay. See if you can find a 16/49 combo which is a really good one.
The 52 is probably making the engine mount hit the chassis and not letting it go over far enough

Yeah your right it is making it miss the holes by about 3 mm... its all my lhs had I was just hoping I could get it to work. Why is it an official aftermarket hpi product if it doesn't even fit!

I don't know...you'll probably have to buy a smaller bell to make it fit
Its really for like times when you want to drive really slow.
Look for robinson racing stuff on ebay. they make awesome products

I took a look on ebay for some of those robinson racing sets... it seems they only make parts for the savage .25 and .21, Do they make any parts for the 4.6?

Hey Guys, I have been having some issues with my HPI Savage 4.6.

1 - No Fuel Pump Response. The server works perfectly fine, but when I throttle the linkage can not pull the fuel pump back to allow fuel in. I was wondering if you guys know any quick fix? The throttle linkage works fine.

2 - No Braking. When I start my car, it automatically starts to run without no throttle. When I try to brake the car shuts down.
