Default Brushless Losi LST XXL with Summit transmission

Losi LST XXL converted to brushless with a Traxxas Summit transmission with upgraded slipper. Running Neu 1521 motor on 6s and 8s, holding up so far

Beniefits are motor in front unlike the Losi conversion I had a summit transmission around and like to build things differently than others. also I was able to upgrade to a heavy duty slipper.

hahahha..enjoy your current conversion first dude. after months or when you are 'having itchy hands' like mine, only then you may want to consider this option. now at least you know there is another option for conversion..

Thanks a lot I will get some more detailed photos soon. With a 5000mah 6S pack it weighs 12Lbs 8oz not too bad I think, keeping the weight down will help reduce parts breakage.

Cool idea with the trans.

Are the diffs not going "pop pop pop" under 6, and 8S?

Default no poping diffs

The diffs are holding up just fine. the big cen wheels are not that heavy and a properly set up slipper help

Love the low CG setup. Is the Summit tranny holding up? Surprised you need a 2-spd with all of the power available with brushless. My LST-E conversion would pull wheelies for blocks and consistently tick off speed runs over 60 mph.

Don't need the 2 speed but I had a summit transmission that had no home and its easier to keep track of parts this way
