E Maxx question
 

My E Maxx has the old school 2 motor setup, I want to convert it to a brushless system and use lipos. The esc/motor combos I've seen are single motor systems. Even Traxxus' brushless has one motor. Do I have to replace the motor mount to the single or is there a 2 motor system? Thx for your help

there is no 2 motor setup that i know of. you can use the setup you have now but i think the single setup transmission is stronger

Two MT-Size (4084) motors would just result in broken drivetrain parts.

Ive owned both models and several of each. I personally love mine. If your running a older model /3906 then trust me and leave it be. Nothin but trouble unless your ready to drop serious cash. And if you are then sell it and get a newer 3905 model. There longer, wider and more durable over all. The dual plate is fine. Just mount one and cover the other hole with tape or something. But IMO the $12-$13 it cost for a new single motor plate and gear cover. I mean another couple bucks.... You got a BIG Ol 1/8 brushless. Those aren't that cheap. Lol....

+1 on what the addict said: sell your old one, get a new roller and customize it; get the single plate transmission, it just looks better! you don't have to go all out on the Motor and ESC; you can find something with enough Tq to fit any budget these days.

What system you got? I have a MMM2200 and my 80A XERUN 1/8 and Turnigy 2100 motor from hobbyking.com will run right with it.
